Core Session
The rapid adoption of AI has placed HR teams at the center of organizational transformation. Beyond improving internal efficiency, HR must champion AI adoption across the organization while navigating challenges like data privacy, ethical concerns, and a lack of expertise. As AI continues to reshape workplaces, HR leaders require a clear strategy to integrate AI effectively. Our research, involving over 1,500 HR professionals, identified four distinct personas that characterize HR's relationship with AI adoption. These personas—the skeptical avoider, reluctant user, active explorer, and adoption champion—highlight varying degrees of AI engagement and provide insight into the behaviors and challenges that shape AI integration within HR practices. Key findings include AI’s potential to enhance HR efficiency and decision-making, but adoption remains cautious. Barriers such as limited skills, concerns over ethical use, and difficulties in demonstrating AI’s business impact slow the process. While individual, low-risk AI use is common, the strategic integration of AI into broader HR functions is still emerging. This session will explore how HR can overcome these barriers, focusing on skill development, confidence-building, and strategic alignment. By understanding the distinct personas driving AI adoption, HR leaders can better tailor their strategies to fast-track AI integration and position HR as a leader in AI-driven transformation. These insights will guide HR professionals toward unlocking AI’s full potential for the future of work
