🗝️ 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱: 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗘𝗫)
The conference’s core theme revolved around EX and how EX could be improved throughout the entire employee journey from employee onboarding to employee exit.
Tightening talent markets drive the urge to listen better, understand, activate, and cater to your employees (which is good news -> since the‘ employee journey’ = a great part of most peoples ‘life journey’…).
Emerging Technologies offer amazing new solutions to take action, and to focus on the people that drive any company’s results.

🧩 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴!
Job roles and resumes will be a thing of the past in a future world of SPOs (skills-powered organizations) and a world in which people possess a skills passport. While companies are starting to create internal skills taxonomies and performing skills gap analysis, there are still many unresolved questions, such as what is required for a ‘fair’ skills assessment, skills-matching, and skills-based compensation.

🤓 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 💕
The technology skills half-time is 2.5 years on average, meaning, individuals need to constantly acquire new skills to stay relevant at the job and for their companies to remain relevant in the market.
Terms like ‚talent density‘ (pack more skills into fewer employees) and ‚collaboration intensity‘ (crowd intelligence can only be created and tapped into when individuals communicate with each other) were flying around in search to address this.
