Helen Ekelund is a business-oriented HR leader with deep expertise in HR technology, system implementation, project management, and change leadership. With a career spanning over two decades, she has successfully led large-scale HR tech initiatives in global and complex organizations, helping companies modernize their HR functions and drive digital transformation. Currently, Helen is spearheading a system procurement and implementation in an international company, where she is guiding the organization through a structured approach to selecting and deploying HiBob. Previously, she played a key role in shaping HR capabilities and technology strategies for several companies and co-led a global Workday implementation as a functional lead —an initiative that was recognized as one of the top three HR system projects of the year. Helen’s experience includes leading HR system transformations, with a strong focus on integrating HR tech with business strategy, process optimization, and user adoption. Passionate about the future of HR, she actively engages with the HR community through AI sprints, webinars, and thought leadership on digitalization.
