Uzair oversees end-to-end human resources capabilities across the BBC Group and is responsible for shaping and driving the BBC’s people strategy, cultural transformation, and organizational change.
He sits on the BBC Executive Committee, the Operations Committee, and he is also a key advisor to the Board Remuneration Committee. Uzair is also responsible for activating a leading-edge BBC employee experience, creating an inclusive BBC in line with the BBC’s ten-point Diversity & Inclusion plan, and taking the lead in overseeing the Children in Need team, an independently run and governed charity of the BBC.
